Tippytea started in 2013 in Quito, Ecuador. The project was born with the purpose of rescuing the Ecuadorian ingredients and spreading the tea culture in Ecuador, in order to experience it as it should be: a ceremonial, millenary and spiritual practice.
Guillermo Jarrín, Commercial Engineer by profession – tea lover, entrepreneur and tea professional - is the architect of this proposal. The brand currently has several stores, where more than 100 varieties of high-end natural teas are offered: tea blends carefully selected and handcrafted. Definitely, a unique portfolio of delicious, aromatic and flawlessly presented drinks and infusions.
Through the support of the program, and the initiative that it helped to position, today about 250 families from all the communities with which they work, have received fair trade benefits for the sale of tea, herbs and fruits, which are distributed as raw material for all types of companies, thus contributing to sustainable development in Ecuador.
